Our Christmas cards are custom designed just for you. We have every type of size and style. They are to die for, however we do have some rules that go with them. Our studio is designed to create boutique products and service, typically we spend 6-8 hours per client ( session, preview, artwork, ordering...). This ensures you have quality products and images that will be one of your most precious treasures. We must require a $300 print order to offer our cards without going backwards. We hope you understand.

Summer Beach Portraits in Hilton Head, Kiawah, Wild Dunes & Myrtle Beach

We want to thank everyone for making this an awesome summer and allowing us to capture family memories that will last forever.  We traveled from Hilton Head to Myrtle Beach and enjoyed every minute. A special thanks to Sam & Ginger for waiting on the rain which turned out to be a picture perfect evening and to John who exchanged his flip flops for a broken in pair! To Lisa's parent's who were committed (Heather forced them) and woke up early to capture the morning sun. With only one more trip left we will be sad that the summer is over but excited for the fall season. Thanks everyone!

Happy Birthday Kennedy

So this is our first Couture Portrait Birthday Party. Wow, is Reese going to be like this? I am not ready for that, these 10 year olds were so much fun. Kennedy ( a.k.a. birthday girl) was almost as tall as me. The girls had their own music and rocked the house ( ok the studio). They really new how to strike a pose, some poses looked like a top supermodel some were like zoolander. Enjoy!

Dog Days of Summer. Huge Success!!!!!!

Wow, after a decade in photography I was so nervous to photograph dogs. I would rather be given triplet two year olds any day over one dog, but now I am a changed person! The furry photo shoot was a blast, thanks to our dog trainer Shelby and our 7 year old helper Reese ( maybe the biggest anilmal lover I know). We really had a great time with every session and as it turns out I think we found a new client base with four legs. Who knew? More importantly we did a great thing for the humane society. For everyone who carried up thier heavy bags of dog food we thank you, but that also meant we had to carry them down. Duh, we should have left them down stairs. We are happy to say we donated almost 300 pounds of dog food to a great cause. Thank you to every one who participated and we will definately do this again next year. Until then, we will be sweeping everyday to remove the dog hair. haha

Meet batman and his little brother Matty. Batman is three and one of the most well behaved little boys I have ever photographed. Mom and dad were so relaxed and fun to be with. Welcome Trey and Trinity ~ Charlotte's Newborn Photographer

I have been waiting for these beautiful babies to come into the world. Mom and Dad are such wonderful parents and over the last year or two we have had the opportunity to photograph big sister Hope. The only thing I did not like about the session was seeing mom look like she never had a child 7 days after having twins. Not fair! We wish mom and dad sleep and helpful friends and family because they are going to need it.

Meet Taylor ~ Charlotte's High School Senior Photographer

I am pretty sure I have never met a person with that much energy. Dean and I had the best time capturing this crazy chick. I can say that because she also babysits our children. We have come home a few times to find her in princess attire. If I was her age she would be one of my best friends. But when you are 18 you think my age is old!!! Taylor will be one of our Reps this year. We are so excited to have her represent our studio. xoxo

Kendyl and Tori ~ Charlotte High School Senior Photographer

I was so excited to photograph this family, and then the rain came. We waited a half an hour (of course we waited, make-up was looking good) and then woo hoo, perfect. I am pretty sure I do not have to say much, the images speak for them self. I was in heaven! Ok so a little nervous when the 20 foot tall horse came to check me out. Tori, the oldest is headed off to collage and Kendyl is going to get all mom and dads attention. Good thing because these girls are beautiful.

Meet Anna ~ Couture Portraits Charlotte's Newborn Baby Photographer

Oh My Goodness, is she gorgeous. Everyone knows that I want one more baby, after this session I want two. Anna is six weeks and is so sweet. Her mom and grandmother came for the session and at one point grandma was crying just watching the session. I always feel a little teary when shooting the newborn sessions. If you have children I bet it is hard to remember them this little. I always thought only old people say time flies, either I get it or I am the old person.

HiP HIP Hooray ~ this is Cody, and he is our first baby not to tinkle during a session. So as far as I am concerned, he is one of the best babies I have had. I love his little squishy face. He has a big brother who is 5 who is equally beautiful. I am sure he will be spoiled with attention. I had a great time with this cutie.

Meet Luke ~ Couture Portraits Charlotte's Baby Photographer

I have been lucky enough to photgraph this little guys twice in the last few months. I love a chunky baby! I love the rolls and the kankles. But what I love most abut Luke is his sweet smile. The first time I met him he was wearing a tie (ok is was silkscreened in but non the less a tie) and he was all smiles, this time he was in his birthday suit and I saw all the different expressions of Luke. Love the rolls now mom they do not last forever.

Sweet Baby Hill ~ Couture Portraits Charlotte's Newborn Photographer

As most of you know I would like to photograph a newborn everyday. They are so perfect, the little feet and hands are yummy. Today I got to spend the day (no kidding the session lasted 4 1/2 hours) with the Hill Family. Since it is Cinco de Mayo it would have been nice to have a few margaritas while waiting for this little princess to fall asleep. After much patience by the parents I am so happy to share a few of my favorites with you. I think she is sent from heaven! Enjoy

"Ballet Couture" Dates

These sessions are designed for the sweet little ballerina or for the little girl who loves to twirl, dance and dress up ( so, pretty much every little girl). The portraits are unlike the traditional dance school pictures in the recital outfit, rather a soft romantic image that looks like an oil painting. We are not looking for the perfect foot placement, we are looking for a perfect expression.

"Ballet Couture" Mini Sessions Coming Soon

Help!!!! I had a friend, Kat ( trainer at the Y, if you have a junk in the trunk, call Kat to the rescue!!!) anyway we photographed her daughter Sophia today for a print ad for our "Ballet Couture" mini sessions and I was hoping to get one good shot. Meet Asher

Watch out girls because here comes Asher. We photographed Asher today and I am so excited to share these images that I am sacrificing sleep. I have met my sons match ( I thought our son was one of a kind). I spent most of the session running after this wild 2 year old, he is so amazing and beautiful that his craziness ( I am not kidding when I say he almost our ran me) is a plus. I actually love a wild child! He is lucky to have two older sweet brothers and a hot mom ( Rachel, thought you might like that, it's true). Anyway, I had a great time creating our Furniture on the Farm series with these boys. Finally off to bed, enjoy :)
