Raised in Florida I really did not have seasons.  But for the last ten years in the business, my life has revolved around two seasons, Holiday Card Season and not Holiday Cards Season.   Each year the season starts earlier.  And yes, I have already done mine. Miracles do happen!

Because everyone gets so nuts about their cards we have a few tips.

~ Book your portrait session Now

~ Order just a few more than needed, because the re-orders are always the ones that get lost with fedex.

~ Cards are an add on to orders, we have special pricing for those who just want cards ( hint it is about the same price for a 16 x 20 and cards as just the cards alone) but if anyone wants to get just the cards, we offer them.  Otherwise we offer custom designed cards to our clients for amazing prices.

~The turnaround time is the following:

After the session we will schedule a time for you to purchase you images and cards.  There is only 1 of these preview times per client, so if you come in and order cards first, the cards only price is totally different.  The date should be with in 2-5 days depending on your schedule.

After the preview session cards take approximately 2-3 weeks.  All other products have different time tables.  But we know all any one really cares about are the cards.  So technically you could order Dec 1st and get them to your loved ones the day before Christmas.  I have seen a trend of New Year cards.  From the time of session until you get your "OMG who did your Christmas Cards" cards should be about 2-4 weeks.

Well the summer flew by.  We have to say this summer was a whirlwind of travel.  The beach portraits where so much fun that we are already counting down the days until next summer to do it again.

Here are a few images from Daufuski Island where this beautiful family traveled from Canada for a family reunion.    Thank you Alena for inviting us to share this time with your family.  The island was beautiful and I enjoyed the ferry over as the dolphins seemed to want to jump into the boat.

The Biggs family was such a treat, our children are the same age and have now formed friendships.  We love what we do, and to travel and create friendships and memories is beyond our wildest dreams.

Thank you to all the families who shared the breezy summer nights with us.  We look forward to next year.

As for the picture of me, well this is why I do not photograph at noon.  I look like walking shadow.  But because you can not really see me, I kind of like myself.

Our little Rockstars

First let me say that when I tell my children that we are taking pictures of them, their response is a similar to "it's homework time".  But Reese is my poser, I can only laugh  because I ask her to relax and look normal.  So I guess she hangs out in the strike a pose look all day.  As for Denver well, he only wants to be like his sister.  I think I missed my calling as a rockstar and I try to live through them.  We built a stage in our house so they could rock out at home, so this image is dead on their personalities.  Enjoy!

Hilton Head Beach

We just got back from our first Hilton Head beach sessions  and are very excited as this is our favorite time of the year. There's nothing like photographing at the beach.  We want to thank everyone that allowed us to spend a little beach time with their families.  Here are a few of our cuties.
